The Body, Sex and Relationships: Living In Our World With Grace And Truth
How do we sort through all the rhetoric swirling around us regarding the body, sex and relationships in a way that enables us to live in our world with grace AND truth? We’ll identify prevailing thoughts and ideas that are destructive to the human experience of love, sex and relationships and contrast them with Jesus’ direction to the kind of life that flourishes. During our time together we will learn how to share that invitation to flourishing with those we love and care for in a way that exudes both grace AND truth.

Family Integrity and the Need for Freedom
The Need for Freedom & Why it Matters to Integrity- Online Course
More information and registration here!
One of the main ways sexuality becomes broken in children is when they feel they have few choices in their life. Seeking out artificial forms of freedom can become a trap for children and adolescents when they don't know how to find true freedom.
This course will walk you and your family through exercises that help each family member feel heard, understood, and free.
USING THIS COURSE
This course provides short pieces of content, between three and ten minutes long, followed by directed conversations or activities to do together. We highly recommend that families only do one lesson and challenge per day.
You can do a lesson each day or even each week. It's more important to be thorough than to go fast.
IN THIS COURSE
We will cover the following areas in this course. All sections contain Family Challenges to do directly with your family.
What Parents Need to Know
Creating a Sense of Freedom in Younger Children (ages 5-7)
Creating a Sense of Freedom in Middle Children (ages 8-11)
Creating a Sense of Freedom in Adolescent Children (ages 12-18)

Sexual Integrity Leadership Summit April 28-30, 2022 St. Louis, MO
Join the Lindas at this incredible summit and register for their break-out session:
Teaching and Counseling Youth, Exploring a Biblical and Positive Approach
Faith-based and cultural perspectives have resulted in a wide spectrum of views about the body, sex, and relationships. Even those seeking a Christian framework have a variety of experiences and beliefs. Of these, some report that what they learned from a Christian framework was helpful and formed personally protective factors, while some have struggled to reconcile messages that they now perceive as harmful. Still others never found faith-based conversations about sex or extra-marital sex to be compelling, and instead adopted a more mainstream cultural view of sex and relationships. Additionally, some who experienced past abuse or who already had a sexual history report feeling disqualified from a life of flourishing. How can youth leaders offer a path forward that leads to flourishing and healing? In this seminar we will introduce a theology of the body that envisions both a Biblical and positive approach that will help us to engage these challenges more effectively. Together we will apply this approach responding to case studies that commonly occur in our youth ministries.
This summit is for:
Pastors, church staff, and lay leaders who desire a better, more strategic engagement on sexuality in their church
Christian ministry leaders who seek cross-training and fellowship with other professionals working in the trenches
Counselors, therapists, coaches, and mentors interested in professional development and networking with other Christian leaders
Any engaged Christian who shares our vision of churches promoting and living out Gospel-centered sexuality.

Parenting Summit- Journey Community Church
One of our goals as a Generations Team is to partner with parents by providing them with the right information at the right time to best influence their kid's/student's life. The parenting summit will provide parents with an opportunity to learn and grow as parents through choosing a variety of breakout sessions on relevant parenting topics (adolescent development, conflict with your teen, body image, before the sex talk, and spiritual conversations). Our hope is that parents would leave encouraged and equipped as they face the difficult yet rewarding task of parenting their kids and students.

Every parent or person working with young people longs for those children in their sphere of influence to flourish: we are all well aware that there is a conversation that is absolutely essential to flourishing. With fear and uncertainty, we make veiled references to “the talk” with our children that looms in our future, the one about the birds and the bees, about how babies are made, about sex. We are desperate to find a compelling yet practical approach to this challenge and to discover THE conversation. Our WORKSHOP can give you the resources you need to help you talk with kids about God’s design for the body, relationships, and sex.
Symposium Presentation: THE conversation Workshop (Texas)
THE conversation will be presenting an overview of our content to national leaders and participating in a discussion regarding approaches to education in faith-based settings.

When Pharisees approach Jesus with questions about relationships and marriage, he repeatedly points to God’s design for the human person revealed in Genesis 1-2. Seminar: Rediscovering God's Design for Love, Sex, and Relationships (Nashville, TN)
AACC 2019 Rise Up World Conference October 9-12, 2019
Seminar Description: What do the body, relationships, and sex have to do with our clients’ flourishing? The answer is – everything. Yet, Christian counselors have not discovered an integrated conceptualization that provides a compelling way to discuss these sensitive topics with their clients. As a result, Christian men and women struggle with misunderstandings, confusion and unspoken questions. In this seminar we will introduce a clear-cut theology and therapeutic model for understanding the body, relationships and sex. This approach will result in a deepening of your clients’ sense of self, whether single or married, as well as the way they experience relationships with others. Join us and catch a vision for the body, relationships, and sex that invites your clients to flourish according to their design. Click on this event for more information.
